| Summary: | Throughout the centuries, the Muslims had a very high concern on preserving the Prophetic's tradition and spreading its teachings and thoughts. It was known that they have taken all possible means which varied according to the scholarly activities of knowledge and the availability of the tools. We have seen the achievement of modem world in spreading knowledge and information in which the internet has been invented and has become a very powerful tool that supports the progress of knowledge. This thesis aims at studying the Prophetic' s tradition and its sciences in the course of the websites on the internet which are established for the purpose of serving the Prophethic's tradition. This study defines the internet and its importance towards the development of knowledge in general view and further discuses the range in which the Prophetic's tradition has been served through the establishment of websites. A specific method has been particularized in two forms that consider two aspects of study which are the contains of the websites related to the sciences of hadith and its services, and for this purpose three specific sunnah websites has been chosen. The last chapter discusses the most significant aspects of the websites and its defects together with some suggestions of advancing the existing website and for further study in the field. The method used in this study is the textual analysis and critical study from the information available in the studied websites and further critically analyzing it to identify its defect in order to provide a better suggestion for future work in the field. |
