In addition, the study intends to examine the students' cross-cultural interaction within kulliyahs. For this purpose, students from two Kulliyah- Kulliyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage and Institute of education-were selected. The sample comprised of 187 students, 94 from INSTEAD and 93 from IRK. In pursuing the research, four hypotheses were developed and tested. Pearson Correlation, Regression, Independent sample t-test and ANOVA were used to test the hypotheses. The result revealed that there is a significant and positive correlation between institutional environmental factors and students' integration in these two respective Kulliyahs. Students from both Kulliyahs agreed that institutional environmental factors play an important role in tighten the relationship and social cohesion among students. Nevertheless, there is a significant different in level of interaction between local and international students in which international students slightly higher than local students in level of interaction with other students. In other word, international students look like to be more interested in interacting with other students from various countries than local students within IIUM campus. Besides, this phenomenon seemed to be happened in both kulliyahs, no different in any way. On the other hand, students from both kulliyahs also believed that based on their Islamic understanding, unity and cohesion is very important in integrating Muslim Ummah as a whole.
