The main objectives of the study are to find out to what extent the factors of teaching which consist of classroom management, curriculum and instruction, evaluation and assessment create restrictions to novice teachers' teaching performance, to identify the stress level among novice teachers at this Boarding School, to investigate if there are differences in stress level between different gender, to study whether the factors of teaching related to their stress level or not and lastly, to investigate the predictive ability of predictors toward dependent variable. To obtain these purposes, a questionnaire was specifically designed for getting information from the respondents who were teachers with two years or less teaching experience at this boarding school. To indicate the extent teaching factors create barriers toward novice teachers and their current stress, the researcher used descriptive analysis and utilized the questionnaire using the Five-Point Likert Scale as an instrument to collect the data. One hundred and seventy-five novice teachers both male and female at this boarding school were selected as respondents of this study. Means, standard deviation, percentage and correlation of the questionnaire were computed. After analyzing the data, it can be conclude that: Factors of teaching did not create significant barriers toward novice teachers teaching performance. In general, novice teachers had no significant level of stress while teaching at this Boarding School, even though, there was a significant different in stress level between male and female teachers. The study also revealed that there was a significant correlation between teaching related factors and novice teachers' stress level (the correlation .674 and sig. .000) and lastly, the predictor had a significant ability (45.40%) toward dependent variable. This study could be a contribution for school administrators to manage their novice teachers properly in order to performe optimally. Finally, the study provided recommendations for the Head of this boarding school on how to improve novice teachers' teaching performance optimally.
