Summary:This study compares women's rights under Islamic jurisprudence and French law. It focuses on the three rights which are heritage, polygamy, and the veil. This study uses the evidence from Islamic jurisprudence and French law following the inductive analytical method. The findings represent a clear understanding of the studied issues through analyzing and classifying the evidence according to their strength and reliability. The aims of this study are determined to present the best conception of women's rights in order to avoid the misunderstanding and corrupted issues that could mutilate this conception. The results confirm women's rights under both Islamic jurisprudence and French law, and assure that Islamic jurisprudence is the best law for women's rights.
