To achieve this purpose, a questionnaire, using a six points Likert Scale, is used as an instrument to collect the data. The sample of study involved 92 male teachers which have been selected randomly. The study used descriptive statistical analysis to describe teachers' perception regarding professional development activities at their school and also to identify their level of efficacy. It also used ANOVA and independent sample T-test to examine whether the differences in teaching experience and academic qualification can contribute to the differences in their perception about professional development and their level of efficacy. Frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations for each item of the questionnaire were computed. The findings of this study revealed that DMIBS provides several professional development activities within the school such as teacher induction, training, mastery of subject area and seminar or workshop. In addition, most teachers perceived positively about the implementation of professional development in DMIBS. Furthermore, majority of teachers in this study indicated that they have a high level of efficacy. This study also indicated that teachers with different lengths of teaching experience and their academic qualifications did not show significant differences in their level of efficacy. Finally, some valuable suggestions for DMIBS and recommendation for furthers research are provided.
