Summary:Liquid Penetrate Inspection is one of the most widely used of non-destructive testing method, for detecting surface in non-porous solid materials. At this study one of the main methods of (NDT), Liquid Penetrate Inspection (LPI), was used to examine and evaluate four automotive engine parts (cylinder head, cylinder block, crank shaft and piston). The examinations illustrated a lot of defects (cracks, erosion, corrosion and others).
