Summary: | The objective of this research is to use an empirical study to reveal the contributions of Darul Quran (JAKIM) towards Malaysian society. It elaborates the history of the development of Darul Quran and highlights its achievements. To obtain valid result, this study used qualitative and quantitative methods, including a questionnaire (on about 300 samples), observation, interview, and dictation documentation analysis. It also attempts to analyze the importance of this institute and how it affects the life of graduates. The finding indicates that the mean level is high for students' contributions, and the institution itself towards the society. However, the mean level of obstacle in memorizing Qur'an is medium. The result of graduates' Quranic memorization shows that there is not much contribution in terms of memorizing the verses of the Quran. Finally, this research demonstrates the contributions of prominent graduates from Darul Quran in various fields of work such as in education, religious activities, and social works. |
