Summary: | This study starts with defining furqah, talaq, khul'u and fasakh in terms of their literal meaning and terminology. The researcher discusses their significant differences, and then states the Muslim scholars' opinions in this regard to determine the strongest of the views. In addition, he addresses the five significant instances which allow for furqah in Shari'ah, and discusses the views of the four schools of thought on this matter. He later diagnoses and analyses the Furqah causing Factors (FcF) of 2010, in Kuningan regency, West Java, Indonesia to first expose the most common one, then the lesser, and ends with the least common. Seven factors leading to furqah were diagnosed. As a result, he proposes some preventive measures to inhibit or at least attenuate the Furqah causing Factors (FcF) economically, and religiously. The researcher uses the descriptive methodology to explain the following words; furqah, talāq, khul'u and fasakh. Then, he employs a survey to collect some data from the Official Religious Islamic Court of the Kuningan regency, West Java, Indonesia. In addition to these, he uses the analytical technique to uncover the real furqah causing factors, in accordance with the statistical principles. |
