This can occur due to minor problems resulting in divorce and separation among the spouses. The present research accumulates the relevant verses in relation to the research topic. It investigates the main reasons and conditions of Nushuz and Shiqaq between spouses. The present research adopts two scientific methods which are inductive and analytic. Under the inductive approach, the most related facts and texts have been gathered from Tafsir. In the analytical approach, the most pertinent texts and jurisprudent's views have also been analyzed. The present research provides the solution to these problems through consultancy. It will help the spouses to resolve their family matters in a number of ways; for instance, showing mutual gratitude, respect, understanding, preaching, counseling and advising. Besides, a few other techniques can also be adopted including keeping wife out of physical relationship and resorting to mild 'beating' that does not cause her injury. It may only be applied if all the above mentioned solutions have failed to resolve the problem. The last technique which may be applied is to assign two arbitrators from both families. All these will restore peace and happiness in the family. The research shows that the spouses may find out the causes and solutions of Nushuz and Shiqaq in their marital life based on consultancy. Furthermore, consultancy enables them to increase mutual respect, love and affection. Finally, consultation helps decrease the discord and the fighting between them and establish peace and happiness in the family. | ||
