The Degree Selection System (DSS) used for this study is designed to assist students to select the most appropriate degree programmes that match their field of interest. The methodology used in this study is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) while Holland‟s Six Personality Types is used to identify the student‟s field of interest. The system prototype was tested by distributing questionnaires to 40 students from a higher learning institution. The questionnaires were given before and after using the system prototype. From the findings, it is shown that 39.4% of the participants had the same first choice before and after using the system prototype. From the user satisfaction testing, 63.6% of the respondents satisfied with the system.
