| الملخص: | This research has studied Arabic poetry in the city of Ilorin, Nigeria, taking the owners of anthologies as representing poets of modern Arabic poetry scene, based on the characterized quality and originality of the poetry, and through these anthologies, the researcher has conducted a technical study using the descriptive, historical and analytical approaches to highlight the issues and artistic trends in these anthologies.The study opens with a re-survey of the history of Ilorin city, thereby retracing the influence of Islam in the sub-region, the eventual introduction of Arabic language and literature as well as the impact of the British occupation on the teaching of Arabic. Then it identifies the trends in the poetry collections from the city of Ilorin by looking at the structure, social and political influences. The study endswith technical features in the poetry of poets in the city of Ilorin with reference to the sources of glossary, poetic and artistic images in them, thenentails the research with a conclusion that comprised the most important results and a list of sources and references. |
