總結:This dissertation presents the analysis and further improvement of a phase-modulation based low-voltage rectifier with inherent regulation capabilities. The aim is to generate a stable supply at low input and output voltages. Measures are taken to reduce the effect of noise using components based on theoretical methods. The circuit is designed in MultiSim simulation software and its characteristics in adverse conditions such as temperature change and presence of metals are analyzed. These include simulated variations in resistance, capacitance and also the presence of spike noise voltage. The minimum ripple voltage found is 438 μV for a stable output of 73.7 mV. Variations of resistance over 200 increases the output ripple up to 734 μV while variations in capacitance over 20 nF increases ripple up to 2392 μV. Artificial spikes are injected into the circuit at 50 mV, 100 mV and 500 mV and yield output DC shifts of ~4 mV, ~6 mV and 318 mV respectively. These results are collected and analyzed comparatively with the advantages and disadvantages of recent works in the field including ripple voltage, voltage dropout and subvolt performance. This work has applications for implementation in mobile devices including RFID, remote sensing and remote detection.
