| 總結: | This study aims at highlighting Shaikh Faisal Al Mubarak and his status as a scholar, who made scientific and reformative contributions. It also unveils his methodology he adopted in his exegeses, namely "Tawfiq Al Rahman Fi Durus Al Qur'an", through an outline comprising five chapters, a conclusion and a bibliography. The researcher adopted the descriptive, analytical, and inductive approaches to analyze Shaikh Faisal Al Mubarak's methodology. Thus, it is possible to study and trace the information by including the examples listed in his exegesis. The researcher reached some conclusion which include unveiling some aspects of the Shaikh's life and the rich knowledge he posseses represented by the many books he wrote. Moreover, the findings revealed his methodology in his exegesis whereby he relies on texts from Al Qur'an, the Sunnah, saying of the companions (May Allah be pleased with them) and their followers, and the Arabic language. Additionally, Shaikh Faisal's thrust for the exegeses books by Ibn Jareer Al Tabari, Al Baghawi, and Ibn Katheer was reflected in his book's introduction. However, what many failed to realize is Shaikh Faisal's consideration of many exegeses and other books which he obviously did not state in his introduction. This study also highlighted Shaikh Faisal Al Mubarak's interest in explaining the meaning of verses while avoiding the details of jurisprudential issues and their controversies which he deems irrelevant to exegesis. Shaikh Faisal's general focus on Qur'anic sciences in general, and reasons of revelation of verses and replacement of verses in particular was also reflected. Another aspect that was released is reporting Israeli narrations and some weak Ahadeeth in his exegesis which basically contradicts with the methodology of his teacher Shaikh Abdurrahman Al Sa'di in his exegesis "Taysir Al Kareem Al Rahman Fi Tafseer Kalam Al Mannan". Finally, Shaikh Faisal's interest in reporting the sayings of the noble scholar Ibn Taymiyyah and his student Ibn Al Qayyim regarding scientific issues he addressed in his exegesis was revealed. |
