Summary:This research describes and analyzes the mechanism of teaching methods for teaching Arabic Language to non-Arabic speakers at the International Modern Arabic School in Malaysia. The study focuses on explaining, describing and analyzing the teaching elements at non-Arabic speaker's department in the school. It also identifies the educational methods used in teaching and applied to different aspects. The role of the teachers in delivering the lessons to the students as well as being aware of educational methods, linguistic activates and environment are also examined. The study also looks at all problems affecting the linguistic performance from different aspects, identifying its causes, deficiencies and weaknesses. The study concludes by providing appropriate solutions, suggestions and recommendations for improvement and development. The researcher conducted personal interviews with the school principal and deputy principal, distributed questionnaires to teachers at the Department of Teaching Arabic to non-Arabic speakers in the school and also conducted meetings with a group of students to identify their academic level. The researcher also attended some classes and recorded the instructions given. It is found that the class period was insufficient for the teachers to use all educational aids; the high number of students in each class also lowered the chances for each student to practice the language. Even though teachers applied different educational aids when teaching based on learners linguistic needs, the educational aids need more diversify and change. Linguistic activities and exercises have been used in the school to develop students' language skills while the environment helps students to practice the Arabic language.
