总结:This study deals with the Quranic verses from Suratt Al-Kahfi and aims to analyse the tripartite verbs with one additional letter (af'ala, fa'ala and faala) in this suratt. The study was conducted through descriptive and analytical approaches. In order to clarify the important elements regarding the tripartite verbs with one additional letter, many references had been used such as morphology and interpretation books as well as a variety of dictionaries. In addition, the analysis focused on these verbs in Suratt Al-Kahfi with the explanation based on the reflections given by commentators like Ibn 'Asyur, IbnKathir, As-Syaukani and Al-Qurtubi. The results show that there are 66 tripartite verbs with one additional letter stated in Suratt Al-Kahfi; 27 of them are presented as Fi'ilMadhi, 36 verbs are presented in the form of Fi'ilMudhori' and another three are in the form of Fi'ilAmr. These three types of verbs (Fi'ilMadhi, Fi'ilMudhori'and Fi'ilAmr) include all patterns of tripartite verbs with one additional letter (af'ala, fa'ala and faala). The study also found that there are a variety of meanings for these verbs which are mentioned in this suratt. The first type, af'ala, meansat-ta'diyah (23 verbs), as-shoiruratt (5 verbs), istaf'ala (1 verb), al-mushodafatt (1 verb), mujarrod (9 verbs), fa'ala (1 verb) and al-ja'lu (1 verb). The second pattern which is fa'alaalsohas several meanings; at-ta'diyah (12 verbs), ad-dilalatt 'ala at-takthir (3 verbs), tafa'ala (2 verbs) and mujarrod (1 verb), while the last pattern is faalawhich isdefined as al-musyarokatt (3 verbs), al-mubalaghatt (2 verbs), af'ala (1 verb) and mujarrod (3 verbs).
