| 總結: | This research aims at exploring and interpreting the Qur'anic ayat related to social tolerance in the Tafsir of Al-Maraghi. The researcher chose this Tafsir as this is one of the contemporary Tafasir, which is based on literary, social perspective. This approach deals with the social problems and its possible solutions. The researcher adopted inductive and analytical method in this study. In the first phase of the study, the researcher collected and arranged all relevant Qur'anic ayat on social tolerance. In the second phase, he began analyzing the collected Qur'anic ayat in the light of Tafsir al-Maraghi, and also some selected ahadith of the Prophet on the issue. The research reached some conclusions, the notable ones are as follows: the brotherhood based on humanity and dealing with non-Muslims with kindness is among the main reflections of social tolerance in Islam. The commentary of al-Maraghi in the related ayat confirmed this fact. Islam has also declared that all humanity, regardless of religions, emanate from a pair of male and female. Islam does not force one to accept Islam; rather it invites all humanity towards Islam without any compulsion. All people may live in peace and security enjoying total religious freedom in the shades of Islamic social tolerance. |
