Summary:This study aims to identify the degree of administrative transparency practice, its obstacles and the ways to improve it in the General Directorate of Education in the Al Batinah South Governorate at the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman The researcher relied in his study on the descriptive approach, where the study was applied to a random stratified sample from the study community, whose number is (818) employees from the General Directorate of Education Al Batinah South Governorate. The sample size is (265) employees and a questionnaire was used to measure the study variables the SPSSprogram was used for data statistical analysis. The study concluded that the degree of administrative transparency practices in the General Directorate of Education in the South Al Batinah Governorate, from the point of view of study sample, was a medium/average degree. The total arithmetic average of these practices reached (3.08), with a standard deviation (0.690), and the total level of administrative transparency obstacles in the General Directorate of Education in the South Al Batinah Governorate in the Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman was with a medium/ average degree, with a total arithmetic mean of (3.12). There were also statistically significant differences at the significance level (α0.05≥) between the averages of study sample responses in the degree of administrative transparency practice in the General Directorate of Education in the Al Batinah South Governorate, depending on the variables of type, and job title. There were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α0.05≥) between the responses of the study sample individuals in the degree of administrative transparency practice in the General Directorate of Education in the Al Batinah South Governorate, according to the variables of academic qualification and years of experience. The study also found that there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≥ 0,05) in the degree of expectation of administrative transparency obstacles for workers in the Al Batinah South Directorate at the Ministry of Education according to type, experience, qualification, work center, and job title variables. The study recommends that it is necessity to work more broadly in order to issue new laws and regulations that assure the rights of the workers while providing data and information when needed.
