To achieve the goals, the researcher has followed directed or deductive content analysis methods. The research analyses the figures of speech in terms of simile, metonymy, trope, and metaphor that were found throughout Imam Al-Shafi'I's poems. The study discovers that there are different and distinguished patterns of thought in Imam Al-Shafi'I's poetry which were based on a variety of means such as beauty euphemism and cosmetic rhetorical devices. Imam Al-Shafi'I's poetry is the pinnacle of Arabic eloquence because of the various patterns of thought and its artistic norms. | ||
