Summary: | The purpose of this research is to highlight the moderate ways of dealing with kalamiyyah issues (issues concerning theology) in Usul al-Fiqh (principles of Islamic jurisprudence), either by deleting, completing or changing them. This research is confined to the history of kalamiyyah issues, its entry into the writings of Usul al-Fiqh, the reasons of its entry, the nature of the issues, its characteristics and the positive and negative effects of its entry. At the end, the researcher presented the moderate ways in engaging with issues of kalamiyyah in Usul al-Fiqh writing, followed by its benefits. In this research, the researcher relies on the inductive and analytical methods to collect and analyse information related to this research. Also, the researcher used the critical method to assess the permissibility of exposing the issues in Usul al-Fiqh by referring to the agreed rules or the writing standards. Through this study, the researcher has found that these issues are divided into two parts. First is the issues that are beneficial to the Usul al-Fiqh science, and the second is the issues that are not beneficial to it. The first set of the issues need to be changed or completed in the writings of the Usul al-Fiqh. The second set of the issues, however, should be deleted from the writing. |
