Summary:The study aimed to identify the extent of the influence of school principals on time management from the perspective of middle school teachers in Khamis Mushait district. The significance of this study is reflected as it addresses an important aspect related to the work of school principals and their effective management during the academic year in light of their responsibilities, which reflects on the success of the school as an educational institution in achieving its goals. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used analytical descriptive approach as it best fits this type of studies. The researcher also designed a questionnaire consisting of three dimensions, and each dimension has its items. The questionnaire was presented to a panel of experts and then applied to a sample of the study population (middle school teachers in Khamis Mushait district) to examine the psychometric properties of the survey. The statistical analyses for the collected data were conducted including (means, standard deviations, frequencies, percentages and t-test. The study findings showed that the principals at the middle school in Khamis Mushait apply 9 out of 17 items listed in questionnaire, which represents 53%. The findings also showed that the extent of concern with the managerial tasks was higher than the technical task, and the ambiguity in teachers' performance at middle school in Khamis Mushait influence the time management of principals. There was a lack of fair distribution of tasks among workers. In light of such findings, the researcher has recommended that it is necessary to promote awareness about the importance of preserving time and informing principals to quit anything that may waste their time. Good planning and ample thinking about job tasks are critical because this helps in making use of the time and reduces work pressure. Developing the concept of sharing between teachers and the school management, especially the ones that are pertaining to planning and managerial aspects in the school, are also essential so that teachers will feel that the responsibility at school collective and not just the management's responsibility.
