Summary:This research study, which came in several chapters, dealt with the role and activity of international relations and their impact on the course and results of the Libyan revolution 2011 during the Arab Spring ,With a focus on the role of the British, focusing on the concepts of humanitarian intervention, the protection of human rights and the establishment of international peace and security, In order to analyze this role objectively, Libya's historical, geopolitical and political situation, the nature of the political system in Libya, the position of Muammar Gaddafi and his family in the Libyan political system, the analysis of the factors of the revolution against the Qaddafi regime, the internal and external Libyan revolutions .And also by explaining the concepts of international relations and studying and reviewing theoretical approaches in international relations and the definition of international relations and development until the arrival of the current reality and its reflection on the structure and concept of the system and the international stages of development, I had also studied in detail international law and its development, which has details and effectiveness of international humanitarian law in the protection of persons and civilians during international and non-international armed conflicts ,This study also addressed the concept of foreign intervention, its definition, legitimacy and its relation to similar concepts .The study focused on reviewing and analyzing the historical and political causes of foreign interference in Libya, the nature of foreign intervention in Libya, its stages and results, the role of the United Nations towards Libya, the future scenarios of Libyan politics in the post-revolutionary period, the British role and its relationship with events in Libya. The British position on influencing international relations and pressure to overthrow the Qaddafi regime and the future of Libyan- British relations .The research concluded that the activity and role of international relations contributed significantly to regime change in Libya through UN resolutions and military intervention, and clearly demonstrated the inability to determine the fate of Libya and impose stability and security in it, With a focus on the British role and future relations with Libya ,The study concluded with a number of recommendations and proposals for unifying the efforts of international relations in the pursuit of international peace and security.
