His works on the edition and documentation have become popular at this modern time, especially those works in which the author has studied chains of the hadith of the Sunan (especial books). Because of the importance of Prophet's Hadith, all aspects of the Hadith were taken care of, especially studying authenticity and weakness of the Hadith. Therefore, the researcher chooses to study hadiths of purity in Sunan Abi Dawood which were weakened by al-Albani based on evidence he sees as strong but, it is not. So, the Hadith in its origin is valid and stand alone or it may be weak, but it rises to good or authentic Hadith. This can be done through isolating the effective cause (السبر) and pursuit التتبع) ) of evidences and subordinates that strengthen the Hadith. This can only be achieved through applying two important methods, namely, the analytical and critical methods. The analytical method examines the chain of the Hadith and looking of the effective cause such as a connection or its opposite, if it is found. Additionally, the critical method is employed to come up with the right and preponderant opinion which is contrary to al-Albani's opinion in weakening the Hadith. Thereafter we consider the Hadith as an authentic Hadith and raises it from the weak degree to the good or authentic one based on the strength of the evidences and the acceptance of scholars (المتابعات). Most important findings of the research can be summarised as followings: Sheikh al-Albani is one of the Hadith scholars at this time. His efforts in serving the Hadith by collecting, studying and editing it should be looked after and studied. There must be some faults and errors in his great efforts, as the God is only the perfect one. | ||
