Description
Summary:Cloud computing is a promising technology that will change how services will be delivered in rapid and economical way. It can support critical internet applications which are necessary to many industries such as Education, Healthcare, and Banking. Cloud computing can facilitate teachers/students, Doctors, and employee's real-time communication through any electronic device from anywhere on pay-per-use bases. The characteristics of cloud computing like scalability, elasticity, rapid deployment and low cost will increase the quality and efficiency of public and private services. Nevertheless, cloud computing multi-tenant nature will increase security and privacy concerns and will limit the end user's confidence in Cloud Computing. There is a slow adoption of cloud computing in Saudi Arabia, and in general, security and privacy are the main reason that make customers lack trust and avoid adopting cloud computing in Saudi Arabia. The research has identified one of the main factors for the slow adoption in Saudi Arabia, that is Availability factor. Therefore, the objective of this research is to propose a Trust Model to calculate the trust value for cloud resources, to encourage the customers to adopt Cloud Services in Saudi Arabia. The proposed model required a novel algorithm to enhance the availability factor, this research named this algorithm as Enhanced Multi Level MinMin Algorithm (EMLMA). The algorithm has been simulated by using CloudSim, and the results showed high Availability compared to other algorithms. The proposed model is called Trusted Model for Quality of Service (TMQoS), this model has been simulated by CloudSim, and the results were compared to other models, which shows that our model has the best result and achieved an average trust value of 0.9529. It will be the recommendation and application of the proposed developed model, where the society will be benefitted by encourage adopting Cloud Computing.
