Nevertheless, there were fewer studies conducted on teachers' belief and knowledge about dyslexia. The first purpose of the study was to identify belief in dyslexia among primary school teachers using specific set of questionnaires. The second purpose was to discover the level of knowledge about dyslexia among primary school teachers. There were 315 participants who participated in this study. Teachers were given a set of questionnaires each, containing 47 items about dyslexia to be completed. The result showed that teachers had both accurate belief and misconception about dyslexia and knowledgeable about dyslexia despite few misinformation regarding dyslexia. Another key finding of the study was that female teachers had better point in belief in dyslexia compared to male teachers.
