| Summary: | This study examined one of the most important forms of modern financial transactions, the Murabaha purchase. The Murabaha is offered by many banks and financial instituitions today. It has become common place in Islamic banks and financial institutions all over the world and one of the countries that deals with this banking facility in its Islamic banks is Turkey. Turkey is at the moment in urgent need to develop this area of Islamic banking and economy. This study studied the importance of the research through a descriptive analysis of the Murabaha purchase in the Kuwaiti-Turkish Bank. The study adopted the inductive method by collecting scientific material for research from the views of classic Muslim jurists as well as practices and standards adopted by Islamic financial institutions around the world. The research found that the Murabaha purchase is legitimate and there is no clear prohibition against it. However, there is a need to examine the detailed practices and methodology of the Murabaha in relations to the banking and state laws of Turkey |
