However, in more recent times, the situation seems different when they have been said to not only serve people with their own products but also propagate their hidden ideologies to the masses through their marketing strategies. In this research, many voices discussing the selected multinational corporations itself and how they reflect ideologies are studied which may signal the outcome of globalization, consumerism, capitalism and other ideologies. In this study, the effects of the selected multinational corporations in terms of its applications towards the Muslim world particularly in Malaysia, is investigated.Malaysia is chosen because it has one of the biggest Muslims. Among the selected multinational corporations in Malaysia that is the focus of this research is McDonald's, Facebook and Apple. This study points out their main ideologies and their potential threat towards Muslims in Malaysia. The study also highlights the influence of multinational corporations on the Muslim culture in Malaysia. Furthermore, this study elaborates the responses of the wave of globalization from both a Western and an Islamic perspective. At the end of this study, some Islamic guidelines and solutions are proposed to overcome the issues found.
