Summary:This research aims to explain the role of Libyan political parties in the hoped-for democratic transition phase, statement of the degree of awareness and awareness of "members of political parties" of the partisan political action, and the accompanying of that march after the "declaration of the fall of the former regime" on 23 October 2011, The resulting political polarizations during the elections, and a difference in attitudes and views due to the control of certain party blocs over the overall legislative decisions, and the contribution of this study to filling the academic void related to the Libyan political parties and the general political situation, and discussing their roles, especially after 2011,The importance of this study is highlighted in its being one of the first studies that dealt with showing the level of political awareness and understanding the nature of party work among members of Libyan political parties, Which gives it a kind of privacy and focus on this segment concerned exclusively with the practice of political action through the channel of the political party, which it is hoped to be in a high level of organization and practice, This research is considered a scientific duty that serves the political institutions of the state: “the three legislative, executive and judicial authorities”, It is expected that this research will serve the Libyan party institutions "political parties", and the importance of the research will also be highlighted in establishing and increasing the level of awareness and awareness among all components of Libyan society in general, This research followed the historical method based on historical aspects and events that contributed to the emergence of political parties in Libya, and the descriptive approach as well, where this study is one of the descriptive studies, as it deals with a political phenomenon represented in the process of democratic transition from the policy of totalitarian rule to the policy of multi-partisanship, as well as The analytical approach with the aim of interpreting and analysing information, dismantling and criticizing it, to elicit pros and cons, with a view to finding solutions to it, in addition to the field study through which a questionnaire was distributed to members of seven political parties formed in the Libyan political scene with different points of view that highlight ideological trends, Among the results that we reached through the field study, which is considered a scientific contribution to this research, as it is the first research in which statistical analysis is provided by the AMOS statistical program. The field study showed that there is a significant impact on the democratic transition because of political awareness, and the direct impact of the axis of political awareness on the democratic transition has reached a degree (0.27). The field study showed that there is a significant impact on the democratic transition because of the awareness of what political parties work. The hypothesis indicates that there is no direct statistical relationship with statistical significance at the level of (0.05≥), and the field study showed that there is a significant impact on the democratic transition due to the understanding of the constitutional and legal standards, and it is clear that the understanding of the constitutional and legal standards has an impact on the democratic transition in Libya with Statistical significance at (0.05≥).
