Reading skills are important throughout our lifespan, it not only influences in the promotions of one's personal development in social progress generally but defines a person's wisdom too. The lack of literacy skills of a person may cause problems for living, working and survival in general. Having said this, technology's impact on the 21st century is fracturing its very foundation of gaining knowledge as entertainment technology such as TV, Internet, video game, tablet, smartphone; has advanced so rapidly, people have scarcely noticed the significant impact and changes to their structure and lifestyles especially children who are born in this era. Nevertheless, the effects of technology on children are complicated, with both benefits and costs because their brains are still developing and malleable. Whereas, throughout, the findings, researcher believes that good reading habit is best nurtured when young. Therefore, this study attempts to compare the efficiency of reading pop-up and AR storybook among children aged 5 to 7. This study had inspected the past and current research to gain information in order to provide solutions to improve and increase the intensity of reading among children. In addition, observation and survey had been carried out on children to study their behavior on reading. Thus, two facilitators had been interviewed to gain the insight of learning environment of children in a learning Centre.
