Summary:This thesis describes an experimental study on learning Link State (LS) Routing Algorithms, especially Dijkstra's shortest path algorithm as part of the Computer Network subject, which is of interest for Computer Science students and lecturers through two different user interface on two mobile devices. The goal of the research study is to investigate the impacts of small screen interfaces on learning the technical subject (Dijkstra's shortest path algorithm): its user interface design and practical interaction between mobile devices and users. This study also looks at the investigation of how mobile technology can enhance the Computer Science undergraduate students' comprehension and identification of the best design strategy on a mobile platform. Hence, the performance of 30 students, who are currently studying the Computer Networks subject, was examined. The mobile learning prototype was developed using Adobe Flash CS5 for learning Dijkstra's shortest path algorithm as a technical subject on two different screen size mobile devices.
