It is basically an assessment of attitudes and feelings about one’s life. There are several factors that influence the sense of life satisfaction. One of those factors is built-environment or the man-made surroundings. The built environment plays a crucial role in one’s life as man-made things generally make people happy. For instance, the more luxuries one has the more they feel happy about their lives. Their level of life satisfaction increases when their social status is elevated and when they are living in a place that has the advanced infrastructure and technologies and they are free to choose their lifestyles according to their wishes and abilities.
