Summary: | Performance Appraisal and compensation deem to be recognized as an essential and vital element in human resource management which affects the performance, competency, welfare and development of employee in an organization and could in turn affects the efficiency and effectiveness of that organizations. Malaysian Government embarkment of the implementation of The New Remuneration System (NRS) in conjunction with the New Performance Appraisal System in 1992 face challenges and dissatisfaction among its Civil Servants and Trade Unions. This research attempts to find out the reasons for dissatisfaction and proposed a new and more effective performance appraisal system in a win-win situation. |
