Summary:The main objectives of this study is to identify factors which affect consumer perception about food risk management quality in Malaysia. Seven factors of evaluation,namely proactive consumer protection,skepticism in risk management,expertise of risk managers,honesty of risk managers,reactive risk management,knowledge sources and confidence in labeling are found to be the most appropriate for the purpose of this study. Results of this study revealed that proactive consumer protection has a strong influence on consumer perception regarding food risk management quality.
