Summary:This study's main premise is that accounting education determines the commitment,attitudes and values brought into the profession by young professionals. The main objectives of this study are to analyse the relationship among the social and environmental elements that exist within accounting education, to propose an Accounting Students' Socialisation Model and test its efficacy in predicting the different professional outcomes, and also to examine the significant factors within accounting education that could influence the expected professional outcomes.
