Summary: | Entrepreneurship development is one of the strategic focuses of the Malaysian government in building the nation towards its Vision 2020. However there is no established profile of successful Malaysian entrepreneurs that shows relationship to their decision making styles. This study was motivated by the literature review which exposed the gaps that: there is an absence of any attempt to empirically investigate the role of personal profiles variables which include culture, personality, self-efficacy and risk propensity, in particular as predictors of the decision –making styles among entrepreneurs; there is absence of combining the factors of entrepreneurs’ culture, personality factors, self-efficacy and risk propensity as the possible determining factors of entrepreneurs’ profile; and that no study was found to relate the entrepreneurs. |
