Thus, motion sensing and compensation become the key challenges in UAV-based SAR system. In order to obtain a high resolution SAR image, high accuracy UAV motion sensing is essential. This thesis reports on the design and development of a six degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) motion sensing system for UAV-based SAR.
