Summary: | Entrepreneurship activity has emerged to be the most important concern as a foundation for viable economy. One of the indicators to pursue viable economy is by reducing unemployment among the society. Unemployment is a problem faced by Malaysia due to job vacancies face decreasing trend, especially for hiring fresh graduates. Therefore, the needs to increase entrepreneurs as an alternative career for undergraduate students become more critical to reduce unemployment. This research aims to assess the relationship between five proposed factors (internal locus of control, proactivity, perceived family support, entrepreneurial self-efficacy, risk taking propensity) and entrepreneurial intention. This research also attempts to fill up the gaps in the literature regarding factors influencing entrepreneurial intention by integrating the traits approach and Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) model. |
