Description
Summary:This study utilises the body of knowledge developed in the field of project management and uses the state of the art stakeholder theory combined with a number of complementary theories such as complexity theory to achieve its objectives. This research project explores and examines the direct effect of stakeholder influential attributes on project success, and further proposes and investigates the mediating role of stakeholder metrics-based project management framework on the relation between stakeholder influential attributes and project success. Aligned with the research strategy, 20 hypotheses are tested in a multi-national, multi-industry survey conducted through the professional members of the world’s leading project management associations and standards, including Project Management Institute (PMI), Association for Project Management (APM), and Australian Institute for Project Management (AIPM). The unit of observation consists of project and stakeholder management professionals from 47 different countries and 22 industries.
