One solution would include mobile or portable health records, specifically ones available on the mobile phones which many or most people carry with them, which are backed up on Web-based servers, which make the records privately available to the respective patients throughout the Web. This research project has developed a communication module that enables a ubiquitous Personal Health Record (PHR) system by allowing standards-compliant medical data exchange between a Portable Personal Health Record (PPHR) and a Web Based Personal Health Record (WWW-PHR).
