Description
Summary:In this research study, a total of 150 respondents who work in the industry related to supply chains in Malaysia have been selected for conducting data collection via a questionnaire. Two main approaches include descriptive statistics and partial least squares – structural equation modelling are used to analyze the data collected through the survey of questionnaires. From the results of analysis, it provides evidence that the factors of data quality (accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness) and the factors of big data (variety, velocity, and volume) are able to enhance the performance of supply chains. With improvement on the performance of supply chains, it has obviously been shown that competitive advantage can be attained by organizations and they have a competitive edge over their competitors in a particular industry which can be sustained for longer period.
