It reflects tourist perception towards use of technology, products, lodging and restaurants. Positive perception implies positive behavioural intentions to return, repetitive visits and recommendations which consequently lead to sustainable economic value of the country’s gross domestic products. In this study, tourist adoption on the mandatory use of biometric technology at Malaysian immigration port of entry was conducted. This technology aims to facilitate automated identity verification while the backbone is linked to police criminal databases, which enables identification of possible terrorists or to identify tourists with past convictions, if any. Little is known about its effect on tourist adoption although it has been implemented for years. 2015-02 Thesis http://shdl.mmu.edu.my/6912/ https://proxyvlib.mmu.edu.my/login?url=http://library.mmu.edu.my/library2/diglib/mmuetd/ phd doctoral Multimedia University Faculty of Business |
