The success of most organizations depends on its people’s competencies and core capabilities in facing the challenges to change. Change management is a structured approach to move individuals to desired change direction in a way that ensures organization’s future viability and competitiveness. This study provides a brief overview of the history of change models and effective change management theories, followed by various literature reviews to have an understanding in successfully managing and achieving sustainable change objectives.
