总结: | Estate planning is a huge issue of discussion because according to Fuscaldo, D (2018) it is important due to many reasons, such as estate planning can prevent our asset from transferred to unintended beneficiaries, but this study's fundamental interest is to discuss about the wasiyyah only. Since wasiyyah is one of the elements of inheritance or estate planning, people must be alert about this. Moreover, some of Muslims in Malaysia isnot concern or giving fully attention to this Islamic estate planning as well as inheritance matters. So, the consequence are, increasing number of unclaimed assets and frozen estate. According to Malay Mail (2017), it is about 66 billion frozen assets that has been reported and Muslim communities were advised to prepare their wasiyyah earlier.ln article by Harbi (2013), he mentioned that it is vital and advisable for the Muslim community to prepare wasiyyah because it can be easier for them to manage the asset. Also, the owner of asset already know where the money or property will go into after they passed away. Furthermore, when they make wasiyyah, they can avoid any disputes that might happen in the future, indirectly. |
