This study is conducted because the particpants were not able to build simple sentences after regular teaching and learning exercise . Therefore, the researcher carried out the research on how to improve the constructing simple sentences skill using sentence drills exercise compiles in a kit. This research was ar^lized quantitatively based on collected data gathered from 2 instruments. They were pre and post test, and a survey questionnaire. The result of the study shows those 16 respondents were able to build the simple sentences very well after a period of intervention.
