They failed to make the fingering recorders and blowing with proper pic and good technique. This is evidenced by the results of practical tests play recorders provided by the researcher to five pupils from Year five Arif, the Respondent cannot play recorders with the right pic.To produce tone with good quality is dependent on the five ways of techniqeus: posture, embouchure, tonguing, breathing and fingering. All these techniques are very helpful in producing a tone of good quality. The study found, technique drills are very effective in improving student skills.
