Description
Summary:Stability of slopes in soil is an important, interesting and challenging aspect of civil engineering. Soil retaining structure is components to protect the slope failure, water control and transport and traffic. If the focus on the design of such components with aspects of the design of the systems especially when the functional aspect of these components have to be considered Slopes stability problems have been faced throughout history when men and women or nature has disrupted the delicate balance of natural soil slopes. Slopes stabilization methods involve especially constructions techniques that must be understood and modeled in realistic ways. That there are many ways in which slopes may fail, depending on the angle of slope, the water content, the type’s of earth material involved and local environmental factors such as ground temperature. Although the root cause of slope failure in the force of gravity, there are a number of other factors that increase the risk of slope failure. It also may cause by of changes in topography, seismcity, groundwater flows, and loss of strength, stress changes and weathering.
