Summary:This study focused on "Teaching Readiness Among Pre-service Music Teachers Toward Teaching Instrumental and Ensemble Music in Secondary School. This study based on qualitative method which mean by interviewing the respondents and the data will be collected by analysis. The purpose of this study is (1) To examine the perception of readiness in pre-service music teachers' toward teaching instrumental or ensemble music in secondary school, (2) to investigate previous music course taken during studies that contributed towards readiness in teaching instrumental and ensemble music in secondary school and (3) to identify other musical experience that contributed toward readiness in teaching instrumental and ensemble music in secondary school. From this study the researcher found that, pre-service teacher requires to be prepared in everything especially when it is more than just what we want to teach and then planning for teaching and learning in class is important to make sure that the objective is achieved. The outcome for this study showed that during their previous studies, the pre-service instructor would apply the strategies that they practice. Most of the respondents agree that the method class improved and strengthened the teacher's pre-service skills in teaching each instrument. Finally, the physical, mental and psychological skills must be prepared especially when teaching in ensemble.
