Summary:This research was inspired by the studies of the authenticity in performing the Baroque music. Apart from what others usually focused on the style of the music and the characteristic, this research has the interest in exploring the possibilities that causes the interpretation of the Baroque music. This clearly explains towards the instrumentation of the Baroque flute and the modern flute. Along with this, there are photos and recordings that will support the details of the explanation together with few of other examples. This thesis has been divided into five major topics of the introduction, the historical background, the analysis of the data, comparison and the conclusion. These five chapters also represent other sub topic that will be focuses on certain scoop and parts. The thesis was made to ensure on how important is that to know the basic things of gaining an authentic performance towards a Baroque music. This especially goes to an amateur performer who is seriously appreciated the beauties of the music and the essential of the composer's works.
