Summary:The purpose of this study was to explore voice, piano, and classical guitar students' perspectives on the effectiveness of memorization in learning music. The samples for this study were the students from the Faculty of Music, UiTM Shah Alam. The respondent of this study were thirty subjects from age 20 and above. Findings show that students who explore more music have the authority to memorize easily compare to those who do not have enough time and experience it by hand. Most of the students believe that time is essential in order to memorize the music.
