Summary:This research is regarding the circulation aspect in the art gallery. The aims of the study to investigate the relationship between circulation aspects and its problems, which can influence the spatial design quality in interior architecture. The issues that are relevant to the study are to determine and analyse the circulation aspects of the art gallery and investigate the relationship between circulation aspects and its problems. The first research objective is to identify accessibility and functionality circulation aspects in the art gallery. The second research objective is to develop horizontal and vertical circulation access through the building. The third research objective is to analyses the relationship between visitors and circulation in the art gallery. There are several research questions of this study. The first research questions is about what are the type of circulation used in an art gallery, and second questions is type of circulation can motivate user movement within the art gallery, and what are the challenges for a visitor to access the circulation of the art gallery. The scope of the research is at the National Visual Arts Gallery, which is Gallery 2A, due to the fact that this gallery is the venue of exhibitions that consist of different type of circulation exhibition in the art gallery. There are two methods that are used in this study which are interview (qualitative) and questionnaire (quantitative). In addition, the analysis technique is descriptive which is based on the output given by respondent through questionnaire form toward come out with the summary of finding on circulation aspect in the art gallery. This study will benefit too all involved and provide the information and knowledge to those involved in this research which is benefit to visitor, student, designer, and artist.
