Yet, thousand of towns in this country and abroad vary to an extent which give each an of its own. The uniqueness of a place result from the way a city has been organized, street formed, buildings grouped and adapted to the micro climate, national and local tradition absorbed, changes of level exploited, important building retained or given prominence, the spaced landscaped and people habits catered for. Some town are still almost perfect examples of past periods while other owe their vitality to a judicious mixture of several building periods. |
